about the artist
Marika Marx (she/her/hers) has always been an artist at heart. Born and raised in Kailua Hawai’i she moved to the continental US to pursue her passion and get her bachelor's degree in the fine arts. Now based out of Missoula Montana, she runs her own small business called Bird Brain Creations. Marx is an artist that creates for the people who have always wished to be a little more than just human. She is a multidisciplinary artist who creates with anything she can get her hands on; from paints, to pottery, and anywhere in between. When she isn’t making art you can find her frolicking through the forest chatting with the birds and collecting curiosities to share.
