This aquatic flower can grow in a variety of different environments. From bogs to lagoons this flower finds its way to thrive. They are apart of the orchid family making these blooms epiphytes. With their roots and vines they attach themselves to trees and sometimes even detritus. They were thought to be the favorite of nymphs and naiads due to their romantic petals and vine coils.
